SAYM is part of Wiltshire Music Services, and has been in existance now for over 20 years. It provides a great way for young people to perform together in a friendly environment, where the emphasis is on fun just as much as achievement. A wide range of groups, bands and ensembles cater for all levels of musicianship. We give concerts throughout the year, and organise trips and events to stimulate and improve everyone's musical ability.

SAYM is supported by a parents association, the Friends, (FSAYM) who organise fund raising events to help pay for additional instruments, sheet music and other items that go to improve the overall experience for our members.

We are very pleased to announce that the Friends have recently been awarded charity status by the Charity Commission, and are now a registered charity, number 1129482. This will allow the FSAYM to operate in a more efficient financial manner, and also draw upon other resources currently not available to us.

We currently use a Yahoo Group to provide secure access to a 'members' area, where photos are posted of our activities, and messages may be exchanged. Access to this group is restricted.
